Privacy Policy

Effective date · January 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how I, Walid Cheikh ("we", "us", "our"), collect, use and protect information you share through walidcheikh.com (the "Website") and any related services, forms, downloadable materials and communication channels (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Website or Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

(a) Information you provide directly. When you fill out a contact form, growth-audit form, newsletter form, or any other form on the Website, we collect the data you submit — typically your name, email, phone (optional), company, website, role, industry, monthly revenue, ad spend, growth goals, and any messages or notes you add.

(b) Information collected automatically. We automatically collect non-identifiable technical data when you visit the Website, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, time on page, and approximate location. This is collected via standard analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, server logs and product-analytics platforms such as PostHog).

2. How we use information

We use the information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiry, deliver the audit you requested or fulfill the service you engaged.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. welcome email after a form submission, replies to your enquiry, account or service updates).
  • To improve the Website, our content and our services using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
  • To send occasional marketing communications about insights, services and offers — only if you opted in or are an existing contact. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and protect the security of the Website and our users.
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations or legal requests.

3. Legal basis

Where the GDPR or comparable laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: (a) your consent (e.g. when you submit a form or subscribe to a list), (b) legitimate interest (e.g. responding to your enquiry, securing the Website), or (c) compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us operate the Website and Services — for example, hosting providers, email delivery services (e.g. Resend), CRM platforms, analytics providers and payment processors. Each of these providers is bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we instruct.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or governmental authority, or to protect our rights, property or safety — and that of our users or others.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic and improve experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some Website features may not function correctly without them. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement, and PostHog for product-analytics. These services may set cookies and collect usage data subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Form submissions are typically kept for up to 36 months, then either deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to remove them earlier.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information; receive a portable copy of your data; or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@walidcheikh.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, secure cloud infrastructure, least-privilege access) to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to minimise risk.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including in jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ. Where required, we put in place appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

10. Children

The Services are intended for business users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Marketing communications

We may send newsletters, updates and other marketing communications to you. We do not sell your email address to third parties. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing info@walidcheikh.com.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Contact

For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact info@walidcheikh.com.
